Allstar Closes Its 2026 NFL Installation Planning Window
Over the past several years, Allstar Systems has consistently communicated that the commercial television industry was changing. As we approach another NFL season, we believe it is important to explain where the industry stands today, how we arrived here, and what business owners should expect moving forward.
What Changed, and How Did We Get Here?
For decades, bars and restaurants could rely on a single wholesale television provider to deliver nearly everything their customers wanted to watch. That model is rapidly disappearing. Television content is becoming increasingly fragmented as content owners launch their own platforms and services. NFL Sunday Ticket is one highly visible example of a much larger industry shift. Businesses that want comprehensive sports coverage should expect to work with multiple providers well into the future.
Why Allstar Started Preparing Years Ago
Recognizing where the industry was headed, Allstar Systems began researching solutions, testing technologies, and developing installation standards years before these changes became mandatory.
For the past several years, Allstar Systems has consistently encouraged bars and restaurants to begin planning their transition early. We invested in developing a commercial solution, trained our installation teams, expanded our capacity, and worked to educate our customers before demand reached today's levels.
Many business owners acted early.
Many others chose to wait.
Allstar's Planning Window Has Closed
As we enter the final weeks before the NFL season, demand for commercial television upgrades has exceeded Allstar Systems' available installation capacity and the availability of certain equipment.
As a result, Allstar Systems has officially closed our planning window for guaranteed pre-season NFL installation projects.
While we continue accepting customer inquiries and new projects, business owners should understand that installation timing is now dependent upon equipment availability, project complexity, and remaining installation capacity. We will not provide estimated installation dates unless we are confident we can meet them.
We believe it is better to provide honest expectations than promises we cannot keep.
Our Philosophy Has Not Changed
At Allstar Systems, we have never believed in installing temporary or "good enough" solutions simply to meet a deadline.
Our responsibility is to design systems that are reliable, serviceable, and capable of supporting our customers long after opening day.
That philosophy sometimes means telling customers what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear.
We believe that approach ultimately serves our customers best.
Looking Beyond This NFL Season
Although this announcement is centered around the upcoming NFL season, the underlying changes extend far beyond football.
The commercial television industry will continue evolving as more programming moves to dedicated streaming platforms and content providers continue reshaping how businesses access live television.
Business owners who plan ahead and build flexible commercial television systems will be in the strongest position to adapt to future changes.
This is no longer simply about NFL Sunday Ticket.
It is about preparing your business for the future of commercial television.
